Sadly, I don't think that the peanut butter sandwich is eligible, not being a US citizen by virtue of not being human. Pity. It would make a vastly better president.

Maybe if civil rights continue along the massive downward swing they've been on for the past four years? Maybe if the Patriot Act is renewed, the "Defense of Marriage" Act is set in constitutional stone, Roe v. Wade is overturned, and the entire environment is shot to hell?

... NO. Of course you're right. It couldn't POSSIBLY get any worse.

Indeed. The sandwich certainly wouldn't push for the renewal of the USA PATRIOT act (which has a sunset provision), nor for the nomination of uberconservative supreme court justices, nor for a constitutional amendment "protecting" marriage. I think a sandwich would do quite well as president.

I think it depends on who the sandwich's running mate is. After all, someone's going to eat that sandwich at some point, especially if it's tasty. That or it will come to the end of its shelflife before the four years are up. I'm guessing any human that would run as v.p. to a sandwich would be pretty cool, in a loserly kind of way, and I endorse that.

Sandwich: Tasty, delectable, resourceful, diplomatic (who doesn't love a PB Sandwich?)

Now Dubya on the other hand....

Dubya: Misuntelligent, resourceful only when daddy holds hand, uses force when unnesscessary, probably doesn't taste as good as peanut butter....

I cannot wait to see that debate. SANDWICH IN 04!

I find that the Peanut Butter Sandwiches platform is much more liberal, and supportive of the people, the George W's.

Though, I'm not registered to Vote.

In the wise words of Robert A. Wilson:

If voting could change the system, it would be illegal.

and:

If NOT voting could change the system, it would be illegal.
