a side-effect of lots of people - lots of posts! don't think I've ever seen SIX consecutive "reply-to-your-comment reply-to-your-post" e-mails before. Not that I'm complaining. I am, however, mildly griping about LJ being down again as I write this. Grrrr! so I can't reply to anyone ;.; oh well - advantage of subscribing to lj_maintenance, I'll know why. Last one was a DDoS, and seeing as how that was maybe six hours ago, I bet this is another one. Stupid l33t h4x0rs. Ah, it's up again, one minute to reply to a lot of miscellaneous stuff -

one down, and it only took five minutes! or was it ten minutes?

Three down, and speaking of things that are down, I think LJ's down again. Grrr. No, there it goes.

Okay, done.

And now I don't have anything to say.

Except for two words of wisdom.

First, you can't (mis)spell supercalifragilisticexapealidocious without cexapeal.

Second, a Sign There May Be Problems With Your Relationship: When your gf (who looks astonishingly like Lain) develops an obsession with the intro song.
And you don't seem to understand
A shame, you seemed an honest man
And all the fears you hold so dear
Will turn and whisper in your ear

Yes yes yes. 20/20 hindsight and all that.

I need to get programming or something again, but it doesn't seem worth installing a compiler on this system for half a week of work. Eh, maybe I will anyway. (Spider solitaire? You want to play spider solitaire? I'm trying to write an engine to revolutionize the amateur 2D game industry!) (okay, so it wouldn't work, it's still funny to think about.)

Future project:

Low-res graphics-to-HTML conversion system, for embedding small pictures in Livejournal entries without having to store them on a server that provides 1) free service and 2) external picture linkage.

Now I really will end.

current mood: mildly inspired
