Why is it that so many games have incredibly cool beginnings, like the first few levels, then degenerate into an endless slog through copy'n'pasted enemy installations while Skaarj or Covenant forces or Flood minions or whatever your cookiecutter infinite-hordes-of-bad-guy is jump at your face and try to maul you?

I'm told Halo is worse, that after the midpoint of the game they make you do it all again, only backwards. So far I haven't gotten that far though, apparently.

It's merely infinite swarms and cookiecutter levels.

It's getting kind of annoying.

I would not have posted this if it was not PERFECT.

Which ArchAngel are you most like?

brought to you by Quizilla

Michael. You're most like the ArchAngel of Defense. You like to hit things, and you like naked people, preferably cute naked people. A real down-to-earth angel who likes frogs and is easily distracted by bright, shiny things.

. . . wow. That's right on so many levels.
