singularity point

the concept of "the past" is nonsingular, in much the same way as the concept of "the future" is. the past is simply the set of all possible histories that lead up to the current moment. the future is simply the set of all possible futures that continue from this moment. they are both equally real and equally solid.

thought: the past is mutable, and as such, can be generated at need. a given future is not real until it is needed; similarly, a given past is not necessarily real either. until we prove it one way or the other, jesus may or may not have existed, and the universe returns to that state once the proof is forgotten.

what if the governing system for reality is buggy? what if the present is in an inconsistent state?

possible plotline for a story.

tomorrow I move out.
