Why do no phone voicemail systems allow you to skip messages while listening to them or delete them while listening to them? It's such an obvious usability feature ("oh, I've already heard this one"), it's something that physical answering machines have done for years, and yet it's something that voicemail just seems to be incapable of.

I don't get it.

(Of course, I haven't polled every voicemail system on the planet, but of the ones I've used, none of them have allowed this - while I've never seen an answering machine that *didn't*.)
