That's not really what I'm talking about though.
When it crashes (which it currently does often, though I expect them to fix this) it goes to report its crash dump to the makers. Which makes sense. I'd be kind of disappointed if it didn't, in fact.
But it doesn't do it *all the way*. It opens a little web form with the crash log pasted in, and the name of the game selected, and . . . nothing else. In order to actually submit the SOB I have to type in my email, no less than two different login names, and select which operating system I'm on.
Note that I don't need to actually write a description about what I was doing.
Guess how often they see crash dumps.
(Bug reports, on the other hand, they see frequently . . . but I wonder how many of them are actually looked at . . .)
(Note to self: provide incentive for making good bug reports. Provide massive ease of use for doing so. Provide automatic filtering for crappy bug reports, and/or disencentive.)
